Shipt: Member rating below 4.7 deactivation appeal

What this deactivation means
Your average member rating fell below Shipt's 4.7 minimum. Shipt says the number is calculated over a rolling set of recent orders, and shoppers consistently report the window is your last 50. The first fall usually triggers a temporary deactivation with a mandatory refresher course, not a permanent ban. Common unfair patterns: members who rate low no matter what with no comment, and low ratings caused by store problems like heavy out-of-stocks. Shipt itself acknowledges the serial low-rater problem and built automatic forgiveness that tracks member rating patterns.
Where and when to appeal
The evidence that moves this reason
- Screenshots of your stats in the 'Shopper Hub'
- The specific low-rated orders with dates and what went wrong on them (out-of-stocks, store delays)
- 'Rating Forgiveness' requests you filed and any that were granted
- Member thank-you messages
- Proof you finished the refresher course on time
What actually works
Work the forgiveness system first and the appeal second. File a 'Rating Forgiveness' request for every low rating tied to something outside your control, because each one that clears can lift you back over 4.7 without an argument. If a refresher course is offered, finish it immediately; shoppers report only about 5 days. In the appeal, do the math for them: name the handful of orders that dragged the last-50 average and show the rest of your record. This category has the clearest road back of any Shipt reason.
Good news on the odds: this is one of the reasons people win most often, when they bring the right proof.
