One case, start to finish

Jordan drives for DoorDash. A customer said an order never arrived, and DoorDash deactivated him for it. Watch the whole thing below, then read everything Reinstara made for him. Yours gets built the same way, from your own facts.

The finished appeal

The full letter, written from Jordan's words and his two answers, in the format DoorDash reviewers expect:

To the DoorDash Account Review Team,

My name is Jordan Reyes and I'm writing to appeal my deactivation for a contract violation (“Never Delivered”), reference CV-8841203, on order #A7X-2291, delivered June 30 around 7:00pm.

That order was delivered. I take a drop-off photo on every delivery, and the timestamped photo from this order shows the bag at the correct address at the time it was marked complete. My GPS timeline places me at the same address at the same time. I've attached both.

I understand why a “Never Delivered” report gets taken seriously, and I'm not asking you to take my word over the record. The photo, the timeline, and the timestamps line up with the delivery as completed.

I've been on the platform for two years with thousands of completed deliveries and a 4.8 rating, and this is the first flag on my account. Looking at the full picture, I believe this was one mistaken report, not a pattern.

I'd be grateful for the chance to keep working. If you need anything else to complete the review, I'll provide it right away.

Sincerely,
Jordan Reyes

The date and order number he gave sit in the first line, where a reviewer needs them. The photo and GPS he only mentioned became attachments the letter points to. Three worried sentences became a record someone can check.

The before-you-send checklist

Every appeal comes with one, built from your own story, so nothing gets forgotten:

  • Attach the drop-off photo from your phone. Make sure the time shows.
  • Attach the GPS screenshot for June 30 showing the delivery address.
  • Check that the order number matches your deactivation email exactly.
  • Send it through the in-app 'Start appeal' button, not Dasher Support.

Where to send it

The right channel and the deadline come with the appeal:

In-app 'Start appeal' button, or the appeal form linked in the deactivation email.

Sample only, not a real case. Reinstara is a self-help writing tool, not legal advice, and does not guarantee reactivation. You review the letter and send it yourself.
