Walmart Spark: Identity verification failure (selfie/ID mismatch) deactivation appeal
Independent self-help tool. We are not Walmart Spark, not affiliated with Walmart Spark, and we never ask for your Walmart Spark password.
What this deactivation means
Spark's Persona identity check auto-failed: bad lighting, camera or barcode-scan glitches, 'too many failed attempts' you never made, or three mid-shift failures auto-deactivating the account. Re-verification waves purge many drivers at once. Non-Real-ID holders may be asked for a Social Security card, and paper or temporary licenses often won't scan at all.
Where and when to appeal
The evidence that moves this reason
- A clear well-lit new selfie matching your ID
- A current government ID
- Explanation of any appearance change
What actually works
Treat it as a fixable photo problem, not an accusation. Ask to redo the identity check with a clear, well-lit selfie that matches your ID. When it's really you, this usually clears up fast.
Good news on the odds: this is one of the reasons people win most often, when they bring the right proof.
